Omaha Elite Taekwondo is a program that believes in everyone's undeveloped potential and the ability to continually achieve a higher standard. The potential to become better, to become elite. We believe that the best coaches don't focus on on just recognizing and utlizing talent, the focus on developing every to higher level.  

Taekwondo allows us to do this by offering something for everyone: discipline, self-defense, fitness, strength, flexibility, sport, teamwork, responsibility, life-lessons, friendships and more. It is an activity that can be pursued through all stages of life as tool for self-improvement and helping others. 

Omaha Elite Taekwondo's unique approach has  been often be called "Functional Taekwondo" because our goal is to not simply teach someone how to perform martial arts techniques but how to master their minds and body in ways that apply towards all manner of activities.

Less is More: Instead of overwhelming students with tons of material to be memorize we attempt to simplify the complex by teaching principles to be mastered that can be applied to future skill sets. 

The instructor's unique background in traditional Taekwondo, Olympic Taekwondo, Strength Training (hardstyle Kettlebell, StrongFirst Kettlebell, Barbell and Bodyweight certified) and Corrective Exercise (Functional Movement Screen Certified) helps deliver a well-rounded package in terms of martial arts, fitness and safety. 

Using the traditional empty hand martial of Taekwondo in conjunction with StrongFirst's Hardstyle Strength training and the Principles of the Functional Movement Screen to teach strength, flexibility, self-defense, tactical thinking and building self confidence as the skills they truly are.
